Yes. Artist James draws every portrait by hand from the customer's pet photo. We do not use AI filters, automated photo effects, outsourced shortcuts, or mass-produced templates.

Artwork & Customization
How is the finished portrait displayed?
The finished artwork is placed between two clear glass panels in a wooden frame.
Will I see anything before the final drawing begins?
Yes. James sends a composition sketch for confirmation before starting the final drawing.
Will I see the finished artwork before it ships?
Yes. We send a final artwork preview before framing and shipping. Once you approve it, the portrait is framed, securely packed, and prepared for delivery.
Can I request changes?
Yes. Each order includes up to 2 free adjustment requests before shipping. Adjustments should be based on the submitted photo and confirmed composition.
Photos & Sizes
What photo should I upload?
Choose a clear, well-lit photo that shows your pet's face and expression. Avoid blurry, dark, or heavily filtered photos.
What if my photo is not suitable?
If the photo is too blurry, dark, or difficult to draw from, we will contact you and ask for another photo before starting.
Which size do you recommend?
Select any size option on the product page to view its reference image. For most single-pet portraits, we recommend 8x8 in for a balanced close-up. Choose 6x6 or 5x7 for a smaller display, 6x8 for a gift, 8x10 for a full-body pose or 2 pets, and A4 for 3 pets. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll help you choose.
How many pets can be included?
Choose a single-pet size for 1 pet, 8x10 in - 2 Pets for 2 pets, or A4 8.3x11.7 in - 3 Pets for 3 pets.
Timing & Shipping
How long does creation take?
Once your pet photo and composition are confirmed, your custom portrait is expected to be completed and delivered within 10-30 days. This estimate includes hand-drawing, composition confirmation, final artwork preview, framing, packing, and shipping.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping time is included in the 10-30 day estimated total delivery window. Delivery timing may vary slightly by destination and local carrier conditions.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We offer free worldwide shipping with tracking. You will receive the tracking number by email after your portrait ships.
Will I need to pay customs fees?
International customers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, or import fees charged by their country.
Why are weekly commissions limited?
James accepts only 10 hand-drawn portrait commissions each week so every order receives careful attention.
Orders, Returns & Damage
Can I return or exchange a custom portrait?
Because each portrait is made specifically for you, custom portraits are final sale once the final artwork has been approved and shipped.
What if the glass frame arrives damaged?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will arrange a free replacement, or issue a refund if replacement is not possible.
Is this suitable as a pet memorial gift?
Yes. A hand-drawn glass portrait can be a personal way to remember a beloved pet or comfort someone after pet loss.
